On December 2nd, the 14th "122 National Traffic Safety Day", the theme activity of "122 National Traffic Safety Day" as well as the award ceremony for essay competition and summer practice works was held at the auditorium of Longhu Experimental School in Yantan District, Zigong City. Centering on the theme "Only Safety Leads Home", the event transformed traffic safety education into a tangible, relatable and resonant cultural experience through diverse forms such as achievement exhibitions, award presentations, artistic performances and interactive Q&A sessions.

The event showcased outstanding works from the "Only Safety Leads Home" themed essay competition and special summer traffic safety assignments. Over 100 award-winning works selected by professional judges were honored in batches, including the "New Seedling Award" for teenagers, awards for adults and excellent summer practice works. Safety reminders written in children's innocent brushstrokes, life care reflected in adults' profound reflections, as well as creative paintings and videos emerging from summer practices, together depicted a vivid picture of traffic safety education in Yantan. Ouyang Hongmei, the first prize winner, delivered a sincere speech: "Words are not only a form of expression, but also a responsibility. May 'Only Safety Leads Home' become a conscious awareness for every traffic participant."

The artistic performance segment skillfully integrated art with safety education. Children from Longhu Kindergarten dressed as "traffic rule pioneers" and interpreted basic traffic rules through the dance "Red Light Stop, Green Light Go"; students from Longhu Experimental School presented "Civilized Traffic, We Walk Together" with vivid dance moves, demonstrating the safety responsibility of teenagers. Particularly noteworthy was that frontline traffic police officers took the stage with the original cross-talk "Police Officer Deng from Dengguan", using humorous jokes to explain the hazards of drunk driving. They sounded the safety alarm amid laughter, showing the approachable and innovative publicity style of the traffic police beyond law enforcement.

The interactive session pushed the on-site atmosphere to a climax. The host conducted traffic safety knowledge Q&A with the audience, who actively participated in answering questions. Through relaxed interaction, the travel concept of "abide by laws and regulations, go home safely" was consolidated.

This event is not only an active response to the "122 National Traffic Safety Day", but also an innovative practice of Yantan District in deepening road traffic safety culture construction and building a coordinated governance mechanism involving families, schools, police and communities. Through edutainment, traffic safety knowledge has quietly stepped out of rigid regulations, truly "come alive" on site and "penetrated into people's hearts", injecting new cultural momentum into continuously consolidating the road traffic safety defense line in Yantan District.
