From September 22 to 23,2025, the "My Heart Aspires to Leshan, Leshan, Leshan" food recommendation event was held with great enthusiasm at Renmin University of China's Zhongguancun Campus and Tongzhou Campus. Centered around the core IP "Leshan Flavors", the event showcased local delicacies like Qiao Jiao Beef, Sweet Skin Duck, and Bowl Chicken through cultural displays and on-site tasting experiences, comprehensively presenting Leshan's culinary culture and urban charm. Organized by the Leshan Municipal People's Government and hosted by Renmin University's Catering Service Center and Leshan Municipal Commerce Bureau, the two-day event featured free tastings, food exhibitions, on-site sales, and interactive games. It received enthusiastic acclaim from numerous faculty and students at Renmin University of China.

During the event, over a dozen representative Leshan food brands were invited to Renmin University of China campus, offering authentic local delicacies like Bolo Chicken, Sweet Skin Duck, and Qiao Jiao Beef to faculty and students. At the Central Campus's Middle Canteen and Tongzhou Campus's North Canteen, the mouthwatering Sichuan dishes drew crowds of eager diners who sampled and purchased these regional specialties. The interactive zone featured a "Chuan Super Cup" football-themed game, with commemorative Sichuan-themed cultural products distributed on-site.

"My hometown Leshan is not only home to UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites like the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei, but also boasts a wealth of distinctive local delicacies. I hope more students will visit my hometown," said Lei, a Leshan native student from Renmin University of China, while introducing his hometown to fellow attendees at the event. Beyond its culinary fame, Leshan is a city rich in cultural heritage and promising for development. The event not only attracted numerous teachers and students with its local cuisine but also showcased the city's historical charm and modern vitality through cultural exhibitions and food promotions, highlighting its unique advantages as an ideal place to live and work.
