On the evening of September 15, the Lugu Lake Lover's Ranch in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture was ablaze with starlight and filled with melodious music. A starry sky concert themed "World-Class Lugu Lake · Promoting 'Three Exchanges' via Culture and Tourism" was held here. As a core event of the Sichuan Liangshan Inaugural Lugu Lake Circling Festival, this concert attracted over 2,900 audiences from across China to gather by the lake. Under the witness of the star-studded sky, lake views and mountain scenery, they jointly enjoyed a symphonic feast of diverse cultural integration and ethnic unity.

The entire concert brought together the artistic essence of multiple ethnic groups, including the Yi, Tibetan, and Mongolian peoples. During the 90-minute performance, Aidisonlong, a Mosuo singer-songwriter, kicked off the show with the enthusiastic Welcome to Lugu Lake, conveying the hospitality of the local people through her simple and sincere singing. Cuo Banruo, another Mosuo singer, integrated Mosuo music into electronic music and rap; his song Mountains and Rivers took the audience into a scene where ethnic music blends with modern music. The Yi Ethnic Group's Little Frog Troupe brought songs such as Unquenchable and Zimo Geni (a Yi term conveying good wishes), expressing the yearning of people living in the mountains for a better life. Yi singer Shen Xuefeng · Shuoguo and Moseee co-performed Daughter Lake, which affectionately told the story of "a naive promise under the starry sky".
A Jitai Troupe, composed of Tibetan, Yi, and Mongolian members, pushed the performance to its climax. Their works that integrate diverse ethnic music styles, such as A Solo Caravan and A Yi Mo, triggered spontaneous singing-along and interaction from the entire audience. Tibetan singer Dasang Jiacuo performed Wind Horse Stone, and the Axia Troupe presented Axia Love Melody. With their unique artistic expressions, these performances allowed the audience to immerse themselves in the profound heritage and contemporary vitality of ethnic music.

Through a three-dimensional performance lineup of "individuals + duos/groups + troupes", this concert not only showcased the unique charm of ethnic art but also reflected the exchange and mutual learning among different ethnic cultures. Taking this Lugu Lake Circling Festival as an opportunity, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture will continue to create a series of distinctive cultural and tourism brand activities, further promote the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry, facilitate the communication, exchange, and integration among various ethnic groups, and invite more tourists to explore the beautiful Liangshan and experience its diverse cultures.
