For Aunt Peng, who has been ill for five years, monthly follow-up visits used to be a "physical ordeal". "Big hospitals are crowded with people, and the waiting time is long. Now, I can solve my medical problems by walking a few steps downstairs, and I can also use medical insurance. It's really convenient." This "within-reach" medical service has become a reassuring guarantee for her later life.

Walking into Bingsan District Community Health Service Center, one can see residents seeking medical treatment going through registration, consultation, examination and other procedures in an orderly manner under the guidance of medical staff.

Behind this is the innovative practice of the Medical Group of Panzhihua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in channeling high-quality resources to grassroots levels. This year, Bingsan District Community Health Service Center has set up "Grade-A tertiary hospital extended outpatient services" in general practice, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, and gynecology, with more than ten experts stationed there for long-term practice at the grassroots level.
