On July 3, the collective research activity of the "Common Prosperity Pioneer" special project of the 5th National Collegiate Rural Revitalization Creative Competition was held in Yanbian County, Panzhihua City. More than 200 teachers and students from 31 universities across China, including those from Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Sichuan, explored the industrial development and project construction of Yanbian County through field visits.

"How to achieve transformation and upgrading through the vegetable industry?" "What are the explorations of collective assets for common prosperity?" In Lianhe Village, Hongge Town, Yanbian County, the teachers and students learned in detail about the village's green planting model, operational mechanisms, economic benefits, and the development path of rural collective economy. They discussed issues such as industrial chain extension, brand building, and improvement of collective asset systems, putting forward many constructive ideas.

"I plan to study the 'common prosperity path and institutional construction of collective assets in Lianhe Village'," said Long Wenhou, a student from Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences. "Lianhe Village needs to revitalize collective assets and improve management systems, turning assets into a 'path' to wealth for villagers. Only by solving the problems of asset management and operation can it keep up with the pace of rural revitalization and set an example for surrounding villages."

It is understood that the competition sets more than 80 topics, covering fields such as rural industrial development, intangible cultural heritage research design, new media promotion, and homestay brand building. The topics involve traditional ancient villages, Yanbian Youth Innovation Center, Copper Hot Pot Food Street, Special Titanium Ceramics Hall, etc.

Wang Donghui, a member of the expert group of the 5th National Collegiate Rural Revitalization Creative Competition, said that the topics are designed around the actual needs of towns and townships in Yanbian. Through collective research, teachers and students can intuitively feel the current situation of rural development. "We hope their thinking and creativity will contribute to the future development of rural areas," he added.(Text/Photos by Zhu Maolan, Yang Tao)
