Ebian Yi Autonomous County, located in a remote mountainous area, has relatively limited medical resources. To better meet the growing health needs of its residents, the county's Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has implemented a talent-first strategy in recent years. This strategy has involved recruiting five urgently needed medical professionals and expanding the hospital's services by adding 17 new specialties. Departments such as major surgery and internal medicine have been continuously improved, with an annual patient volume reaching 89,929.

Today, the hospital has successfully established itself as a Grade II A TCM hospital, and a modern medical and elderly care system is gradually taking shape, ensuring that minor illnesses are treated locally and major illnesses are managed within the county. Moving forward, the hospital will continue to uphold the leadership of Party building, leverage its TCM expertise, and continuously enhance its technical and service standards, thereby strengthening the health protection for the Yi ethnic group.
