Formerly known as Shouchun, Shouxian county in Huainan city in Anhui province was the last capital of the Chu State. There lies the only museum named after the "Chu Culture" in China—the Anhui Chu Culture Museum. The museum houses more than 10,000 pieces (sets) of various collections, including over 700 pieces (sets) of cultural relics of the Chu State, telling the story of the last glory and decline of the Chu State and delivering the spiritual power contained in the Chu culture.
